EU subsidies for Modernization of Agriculture

On 27 June this year, the regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 23 June 2015, amending the regulation on the detailed conditions and procedure for granting financial assistance under the "Modernization of agricultural holdings" measure of the Rural Development Programme for 2007-2013, will come into force, allowing beneficiaries of the "Modernization of agricultural holdings" measure (RDP 2007-2013) to extend the deadline for completing the investment and submitting a payment claim until 30 September 2015 at the latest.

Beneficiaries who concluded assistance agreements under the "Modernization of agricultural holdings" measure before the above regulation came into force, i.e. before 27 June 2015, are entitled - in accordance with paragraph 2 of the above regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development - to extend the deadline for completing the investment and submitting a payment claim, provided they submit a request to amend the agreement regarding the extension of that deadline. The request to amend the agreement must be submitted no later than 15 July 2015, at the Regional Branch of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture where the assistance agreement was concluded.
